Recovery is a "we" process.  At Triangle Club you will find the Fellowship of the recovery community to support you on your journey to happy, joyous and free.

Find the fellowship you seek!

Recovery is simple, but not always easy.  Triangle Club is committed to carrying the message of recovery to those who still suffer.  It works; it really does!

"We have a way out upon which we can join in brotherly and harmonious action."  Triangle Club welcomes everyone. You belong!

All meetings held at Triangle are now being registered with the General Service Organization.  That means all groups are electing Trusted Servants and accepting membership.  Join us in service to those who still suffer.

Triangle Club is under construction - spiritually, mentally and physically!  There are plenty of opportunities for service work.  Let us know how you'd like to serve.

Now Hiring!

Well, more like seeking volunteers

The Alabama District 9 of Alcoholics Anonymous is accepting applications for volunteers to take AA meetings into the Russell County Jail.  Russell County specifically requested this service.  District will provide literature and other supplies.

Meetings will take place from 5:00pm to 6:00pm every Saturday, alternating weekends for women's and men's meetings.   Two AA's are required to conduct each meeting. Therefore, the commitment from volunteers would be, at most, two hours per month.  If there are enough volunteers, the commitment could be just once per quarter, or serving on a stand-by basis.

The Warden of the Jail will decide the suitability of volunteers on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration that many AA's have "been through the wringer" and have criminal history.

This is a great opportunity for service work, and gives hope to many people who are ready and willing to recover from  alcoholism and addiction.

If you are interested in volunteering, please download and complete the Application to Review Alabama Criminal History Record Information (click button below) and return the form through the Contact Page here, by email to or deliver to Triangle Club.

Remember, AA's "primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety."  Few activities accomplish both mandates as effectively as carrying meetings into institutions.

Thanks for your help, and please spread the word about this opportunity.  See you soon!
